Where can I take my teenage son in Las Vegas?

I am considering taking my son on a trip to Vegas is there alot of activities for teens?Where can I take my teenage son in Las Vegas?
im a teen girl and i love it ( i live three hours away) but then again i like it for shopping. if he likes shopping and mabe shows like magic or a concert he will like it. it is also just alot of fun to just walk down the strip and see all of the free shows outside of the hotels- like TI and the marage. also you can get a day pass for the pools at the Monte Carlo ( you dont have to stay there you just have to buy the pool pass) they have a wave pool and a floating tube pool its fun i enjoy it.

oh also at the luxor they have some cool stuff to check out.

have fun if you go!Where can I take my teenage son in Las Vegas?
You can take him to a show like blue man group or if he like magic Dirk Arthur's extreme magic at the tropicana is a good and very reasonable priced and entertaining show.
Not really. Places like Circus Circus and Excalibur tend to cater to those under the age of 12. Unless he's REALLY REALLY REALLY (I mean REALLY) into arcades, I'd go somewhere else. Teens are at the in-between age that makes Vegas lame. They're too young to REALLY experience Vegas, but too old for the kiddy stuff.
There are quite a few non gaming activities to do for kids and adults in the Las Vegas area. This site has some listed

It used to be that there wasn't anything at all, but things have gotten better for a wider range of ages now.

First off, be aware that teenagers are not to be on the casino floors, no ifs, ands, or buts. Don't even try it. The only exception is when you have to walk through to get to restaurants/hotel rooms/etc.

That said, there are still lots of things to do. There's a huge Gameworks Arcade on the strip. There are a lot of shows that would be good for a teenage son, like Blue Man Group. There are frequently very good concerts, as well as comedians and magic shows.

If he's a little geeky, he might like the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. There's lots of fun shopping at the Venetian, Caesar's, etc. Most of the big hotels have beautiful pools to spend time in. New York, New York has a rollercoaster.
Definitely Circus Circus. There are also lots of other attractions for kids in Las Vegas. The best part is that a lot of them are free.

Here is a list:
